Pleurobrachia

Pleurobrachia
Small free-swimming marine organism, member of the Phylum Ctenophora. Roughly spherical and transparent with most of the body made up from transparent jelly-like material. The animal has two long tentacles for catching prey, and swims by means of 8 rows of comb plates (made of fused cilia) that run along the body.
